Oily hair can be
the result of a diet high in fat. Hair's sebaceous glands that are fed mostly
fried foods, red meat, and dairy products are going to over produce oil. This
results in greasy hair. The first thing to do is to attack the problem from the
inside and cut the fat intake. You can then try the following tricks. Lemon
rinse - Squeeze the juice of two lemons in two cups of distilled water and
put it in a container (those used for mustard and ketchup). After washing the
hair with shampoo, dry it with a towel, and apply the solution to the hair massaging
the scalp. Leave it on for 5 minutes and rinse. Shavegrass
- Boil a cup of distilled water. Put two tablespoons of dried shavegrass leaves
in a glass container. Add distilled water and let stand for 15 minutes. Strain
and put in a bottle like the one in the previous recipe and use the same way as
the lemon rinse. Beer
rinse - After washing hair with shampoo give your hair a final rinse with
beer and then water.
Egg
yolk - Mix two egg yolks with a few drops of lemon. Apply to wet hair and
leave for a few minutes. Rinse. Vinegar
rinse - Dilute vinegar in water and apply to hair as a final rinse after shampoo.
Witch
hazel - Make a mixture of equal parts witch hazel and mouth wash and apply
to the scalp with a cotton ball after showering. Other
tips: *
Leave the shampoo on for a few extra minutes *
Keep your brush or comb clean *
Comb your hair instead of brushing *
Do not dry hair with the super-hot air because it activates the sebaceous glands.
* Do
not use hats or tight bands |
