Hidalgo The
content of these notes is based on writings made by interdisciplinary teams of
specialists in the field. The
5 key points are: Combinations
Combinations of foods that produce high concentrations of acids are most harmful
to the body. The worst combination of all is protein, carbs, and fruit. Because
of its low concentration of acid, the most suitable combination is the one that
mixes only one of these three varieties. In other words, in each meal we eat only
protein, or carbs, or fruits. A green salad may be added. Time
Fruits remain in the stomach from 30 minutes to one hour, carbs 2 hours, and protein
at least 3. However, food remains in the digestive tract for another hour or two.
That means it is necessary to wait a while (depending on the type of food you
ate) before you eat anything else.
Order So let's say you eat protein. You would have to wait
for some 5 hours in order to be able to eat something else that won't mix with
the protein. For this reason the most convenient order to eat your meals
every day is to start with lighter meals such as fruit. Then, the carbs, and lastly
the protein.
Proportion
According to the type of nutrients that each food provides, and the kind of nutrients
that the body needs, the best proportion for a healthy diet would be 15% protein,
35% carbs, and 50% fruits and vegetables. Water
The body needs water in order to function properly. The recommended amount is
8 glasses a day. home-remedies-site.com Water should be taken 20 minutes before
meals. It is not advisable to take liquids with meals. Notes
Meats, fats, cheese, etc.. are protein. Beef and pork are very harmful. Samples
of carbs are cereals, pasta, potatos, etc.. Watermelon, bananas, and cantaloupe
are very nutritious. These should be eaten every day. However, do not mix the
three at once. Green salad is a combination of highly desirable produce such
as cabbage, broccoli, lettuce, spinach, cucumber, tomato, carrot, etc.. It is
recommended that you eat them raw. Do not mix tomato and carrots. Do not
add cheese or meat to the pasta, only tomato sauce. You may add some mushrooms
and olive oil.
As long
as you follow these recommendations, there is no limit on how much you can eat.
In other words, you may eat as much as you want in any meal.
An
example of a nutritional regimen that meets all of this requirements is as follows:
Breakfast:
Drink only liquids. Orange juice or other fruit juices. No milk. Midmorning:
Eat a banana, or watermelon, or cantaloupe. Only one of these three. Lunch:
Four days per week, eat fruits. Do not mix sweet fruits with sour. Two
days a week, eat macaroni or other pasta and green salad. Dinner:
During those 6 days there are different options: vegetable soup, bean soup
with two eggs (once per week), home-remedies-site.com green salad and rice, green
salad and avocado, etc. On
the seventh day you may eat protein.
Breakfast and midmorning stays the same. For lunch you can eat green salad with
chicken or fish or cheese. Ice cream. Midafternoon
