Cucumber is not only a refreshing astringent but it can be a very efficient make-up remover.


 

Homemade Masks for Your Face

Follow these steps whenever you have a facial mask done:

1.Steam face for 10 minutes. Thus, the pores will be open and the skin will absorb the ingredients better.

2. Apply the mask slowly with circular movements. Start from the forehead and nose, then the cheekbones, cheeks, and chin.

3. Remove the mask after the time indicated.

Hydrating Mask: cold chamomile tea, 1 teaspoon of honey, 2 tablespoons of oatmeal. Mix oatmeal, two tablespoons of honey, and chamomile. If your skin is sensitive use lanolin instead of honey. Spread the mixture on the skin using a brush and let it work for 20 minutes. Be careful not to put the mixture in the eyes, you can protect them with cotton balls. Wash your face with the remaining chamomile tea.

Yogurt mask: two tablespoons of yogurt, a tablespoon of warm honey, and 12 or 14 drops of lemon juice. Combine all ingredients and apply on the face with a brush or your fingers being careful with the eyes. Leave for an hour.

Honey and lemon mask: Mix two teaspoons of honey with the juice of one lemon and apply for 5 minutes. Wash your face. Do it every day. In one week you will notice your skin is smoother.

Nutritious mask: Mix one egg yolk with two teaspoons of honey. Steam face for 10 minutes and apply the mask. Leave it on for 15 minutes and wash.

Mask for oily skin: 1 egg white, 1 ripe tomato, 1 tablespoon of brewer's yeast, 1 cup water, 3 dry bay leaves. Make an infusion with the bay leaves and let it home-remedies-site.com stand until cold. Beat the egg white until creamy and add the tomatoes peeled and crushed. Add brewer's yeast and two tablespoons of the bay infusion. Mix well. Apply to oily areas with a brush and leave it on for 15 minutes. Wash your face with the remaining bay tea.

Fresh Cucumber: For a fresh and beautiful complexion, slice a cucumber. Lie down and apply slices on the whole face including your eyes (closed).

Potato mask: Cook a potato and make a puree. Mix with a grated raw potato and apply to the face for 15 or 20 minutes. Wash with warm water.

Banana, strawberries, and yogurt mask: Make a puree using a banana and a strawberry, add 1 tablespoon of plain yogurt. Apply to the face for 20 minutes.

Clean, close pores, and reaffirm the skin: Blend one medium ripe cucumber. Mix with a tablespoon of powdered milk and an egg white until it forms a paste. Apply to face and let it work for half an hour. Rinse with warm water and then with cold water.

Avocado and milk mask: For dry skin. Puree an avocado and add a little milk until you have a paste. Apply for 20 minutes and wash.
