Incontinence symptoms
can range from mild, when a person laughs, sneezes, coughs, to severe, the person
feels an urge to urinate and does not make it to the restroom in time. Incontinence
in women can be caused by having had a baby since natural childbirth can damage
the structures that hold the urine. In men incontinence can be caused by an enlarged
prostate. Pressure
point - There is a nerve in the legs that has to do with the urge to urinate.
If you feel a sudden need to urinate, sit down and press the right ankle against
the left shin. Keep the pressure for a few minutes. Kegel
exercises - When you urinate try to stop the urine flow. The muscles you use
to accomplish this are the muscles you must exercise in the Kegel exercises. Five
times a day, tighten and relax these muscles for two seconds. Repeat ten times.
These exercises can be done anytime, anywhere. Nobody will notice that you are
doing them. Avoid
alcohol and caffeine - These ingredients increase the production of urine.
Kidney
massage - Almond oil, 1-3 drops of essence of thyme. Combine almond oil with
the essence of thyme. Give yourself a massage in the kidney area in a circular
motion. Start slowly and then do it faster. Then turn around and do the same massage
in the bladder area. Make
a schedule - Empty your bladder every three hours even if you do not feel
a need to do so. If you need to urinate more often, do it every hour. Put an alarm
clock so as not to forget.
