Natural Remedies for Lowering Cholesterol

There is good cholesterol and there is bad cholesterol. The low-density lipoproteins (LBD) cholesterol is bad because it is responsible for obstructing arteries, while high-density lipoprotein (LAD) cholesterol is good because it helps take the LBD to the liver where it is eliminated.

Olive oil: Olive oil not only decreases the LBD cholesterol but it also increases the LAD. Use it as a garnish on salads and for frying. Two tablespoons a day is enough to receive its benefits.

Sesame: Leave 1 tablespoon of sesame in a cup with water all night. In the morning, blend with an apple and two spoonfuls of oatmeal. Take only in the mornings.

Avocado: Avocado is very good for lowering the LBD since it contains unsaturated fats. An avocado a day lowers the LBD by 17%.

Oats: In one liter of water, put 3 tablespoons of oats. Leave it overnight and drink the next day throughout the day.

Mexican avocado canape: 1 trickle of olive oil, 1 avocado, 2 garlic cloves, 3 or 4 drops of Tabasco, salt, lemon juice. Prepare a sauce by mixing all ingredients. Add it to bread and enjoy.

Breakfast canary grass grains and oats: 1 tablespoon roasted and ground canary seed grains, 2 tablespoons oat bran, pineapple juice. Mix canary seed grains with the oat bran and add the pineapple juice. Take every morning with your breakfast.

Mashed avocado: 1 avocado, 1 lemon, 1 trickle of olive oil, 1/2 garlic, onion. Puree the avocado, add the lemon and onion to taste, chopped garlic, and olive oil. You may eat this any time of day.
